Kaye Hahn is the presenter of the Professional Poker Tour. In this way she fulfils a similar role to Shana Hiatt or Courtney Friel of the World Poker Tour, interviewing the players and presenting feature articles on the fascinating world of poker. The Professional Poker Tour is different from the World Poker Tour in one major way however, and that is in its exclusivity.
The World Poker Tour is open to any poker player at any level, as long as the player has his bankroll and can afford the buy-in. The Professional Poker Tour is open only to the poker world's elite. In order to gain entry, players must prove their eligibility through previous poker competitions. This can be done by winning, or making it through to the final table at a World Poker Tour event or World Poker Tour Championship, by making it as a top ten point leader in the WPT Player of the Year rankings, by winning or finishing highly in the $10,000 event at the WSOP, or by securing a place on either the CardPlayer Magazine Card Player of the Year Top 10 list, Poker Europa's Top 10 list, or being a member of the Poker Hall of Fame.
The PPT has the intention of not only allowing the viewers to see the most skilled poker players in the world, but also to push poker into full recognition as a sport. Kaye Hahn, as the beautiful, glamorous and charming presenter, has the privilege of mixing with the most exciting professional poker players on the circuit, including Howard Lederer, Annie Duke, Scotty Nguyen and Chris Moneymaker. She is able to bring the profession's best representatives closer to the viewers, and bring the world of poker into the homes of a worldwide audience.
