MGM Grand

Poker Rooms - MGM Grand Las Vegas:

Among the many hotels and resorts in Las Vegas, there are a few that clearly stand head and shoulders above the rest. The MGM Grand is surely one of those few. Visitors to this palatial hotel are completely engrossed in all the glamour and excitement that this world-class facility has to offer. The MGM Grand is known as its own “city of entertainment” for good reason – once you step inside, you may not want to leave for days because there is just so much to do.

Costing over $1 billion to build, the MGM Grand stands directly across from the New York-New York hotel. This icon of entertainment features over 5,000 hotel rooms and The Signature at MGM Grand, several lavish all-suite towers.

Entertainment options are truly endless here. Sophisticated shows, sporting events, and amazing exhibits are all on display for your pleasure. The African Lion Habitat gives visitors the opportunity to view the massive cats up close and personal, with only glass separating you from the animal’s habitat. The opulent MGM Grand’s Crazy Horse Paris show is always a big hit, while the MGM Grand Arena hosts some of the biggest musical acts in the world, such as Sting and the Rolling Stones. It also is home to many memorable championship boxing fights. Truly spectacular entertainment can be found at The Hollywood Theater, where the world-famous Cirque du Solei circus performers present their show Ka. The nightlife at the MGM Grand is also world famous, with the amazing nightclub Studio 54 providing the dance music and exciting atmosphere, along with the ultra lounge Tabu.

And, of course, the humongous 171,000 square foot casino has everything a gambler could ever hope for. Casino Games include Blackjack, Roulette, Craps, Pai Gow, Caribbean Stud and Let It Ride, tons of slots, Baccarat, Keno and Megabucks. In addition, there is a 104-seat race and sports book room, fully equipped with 94 personal televisions and 44 big screen TVs.

All this excitement will guarantee a big appetite, and the MGM Grand has plenty to offer when it comes to fine dining. Many visitors try the fresh fish taste of Michael Mina’s Seablue, while others prefer the Cajun flavor of Emeril’s New Orleans Fish House. If you’re not in the mood for seafood, how about trying the renowned cuisine at Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill or the high-spirited fun of the Rainforest Café? Other dining options include: Joel Robuchon at The Mansion, Craftsteak, Pearl, Diego, Grand Wok and Sushi Bar, and the seasonal Cabana Grille. No matter what you feel like eating, chances are you can find it on a menu at the MGM Grand.

When the Las Vegas summer heats up and you need to cool off, the MGM Grand pool area may be just what you need. The 27,000 square foot Grand Pool complex has five different pools, three Jacuzzis and a 1,000-foot long lazy river. Nearby, there is also the huge Spa at MGM Grand, which features more than 20 treatment rooms, and Christophe Salon, a full-service spot that caters to the most demanding customers. The MGM Grand also has an exclusive health club.

If the shopping bug bites, the resort also offers the Studio Walk shopping promenade and Star Lane Shops, a variety of shops and a small arcade area. A beautiful wedding chapel, The Forever Grand Wedding Chapel, is also available for wedding ceremonies. If you have a larger event planned, the MGM Grand has two huge ballrooms larger than 50,000 square feet. Hotel amenities include: concierge, laundry, luggage and maid service, currency exchange, a safety deposit box, and wake-up calls.
